If I upload a track to the web (Sound Cloud, MySpace ..etc..) I get this warbling-like background noise in my track. I cannot figure out why. :/ This "warbling" sound is not present on my 8-track, or when I export my recorded tracks to the computer. The .wav file (or if I export the .wav file as I constant mp3 at 320kpbs) recording sounds fine.

I've been doing the bedroom recording thing for a while using very basic stuff (USB mic, Sonar 7). I'm looking to kick it up a notch in the near future.

I'd like to be able to record several tracks at once and have them all record to their own track. I'm thinking USB short term and Firewire long term (Phase III maybe?).

anyone have any inside info on this album? the breakup sounds like this mccurdy preamp that i have access to at my bigger facility I use, but every time I hear this song, I just love the grit they got.
