Instead of creating new tracks and then copy/paste over the previous one--Could you just send the sound to multiple buses?

So to layer "track A", say 3 times---you would just put in 3 sends and then it creates the same effect of 3 copied tracks playing simultaneously

I just completed writing one song using REAPER on XP with my MOTU Microbook. Towards the end REAPER started crashing and I used to lose unsaved work. Also I don't really like working with REAPER. I have decided to purchase another DAW.

This speaker is rated for 250W. . would I risk breaking it or the amp if I put it in a 50W Ampeg bass combo?

I just searched "mentor" on the main page here. It turn up some results about colleges and 'small town' studios. My initial post was going to ask who/what/how is a mentor exactly. But i noticed some things after the search, that stuck out. Here's a couple. Successful engineers can make good/great? recordings on current average gear.

Hey--Is the strength of the sound (or how loud it is) the only factor that creates clipping?

Right now focused on getting an audio interface and microphone to start recording. I play the trumpet and only other options would be if I decided to plug my Yamaha 155 digital piano in which is less likely or if a friend that I play in an ensemble also plays guitar if we ever chose to record something together. I like the multi-use XLR and having 2 inputs and a few options.

I have an Ampeg 12inch SS bass amp.

The speaker is shot.

Any suitable replacements for under 80 $USD?
