Looking for suggestions on good Microphones to be used for Indian woodwind instrument Bansuri.

I'm looking into buying a 'beater' guitar to mess around with while my house is under re-model, and I'm assembling the first phase of my remote recording rig, website, etc. i also want to use it to learn soldering and guitar mods on. needless to say, i already feel bad for the guitar. lol.

Let's say I had 2 compressors in series with the following parameters:

Threshold = -5dB
Ratio = 2: 1
Attack = 50 ms
Release = 40 ms

Would there be any difference (technical / sonic / theoretical) if I had a single compressor configured as below?

Please see and hear the attached files. I'm recording a guitar direct. The guitar channel is panned full right, so I expect to see/hear nothing happening on the left channel (the left channel has a backing track that comes in after the solo) But during the solo, what is the audio being heard? Does it have anything to do with the ZED's built in Reverb I'm using on the guitar?

What are your thoughts?

hey all. I have a couple Alesis 5” driver monitors and was wondering if anyone has had any good luck with a wall mount, either bought or built, for a smallish studio monitor like those (12”h x 10”d x 10” w) roughly.

I was a fan of his work, I haven’t read his books yet, but enjoyed his TV shows.
