Just beating a dead horse. Occasionally when I listen to my iTunes library there are very subtle pops and/or crackles. I want to find out if this is a codec compression issue or a faulty pair of monitors. It happens intermittently, like maybe it is only certain songs or certain parts of certain songs.

Hello folks. Short time troller. First time poster.

I'm curious if anyone has played the new Bugera amps, and if so, what the thoughts were on them? Specifically looking at the V22, which is a 22 watt 1x12 with EL84 circuit.

I have just change my converters from a Tascams 1884 to and Aurora 8(with PT card) through a Digi HD1 Core PCI running from a magma 4 slot PCI to PcI e. I recorded flawlessly on my 1884 with out any latency at all. my chain being a simple one, mic preamp-Tascam-daw-Tascam.

i'm new (comparing to most of you) in business and since i plan to buy a pair of monitors this autumn, i recently started to read more about them. What i have noticed is that some of them have a frequency response above 20 khz (especially the Adam monitors). Now pls help understand why, because i read that human ear detects sounds from 16 hz to 20 khz.

You may not have heard of it (and I have no connection whatsoever to the author or the publisher) but there's a very good new book out there, written by Greg Milner, entitled: "Perfecting Sound Forever". (It's a play on the Sony/Philpis sales pitch for CDs when they were first introducted: "Perfect Sound Forever")

basically I'm looking for something i can plugin my guitar and link it to my pc to record, I'm obviously not looking for professional grade, just rough records for myspace and demo's to send to bands and to record riffs

i have also heard of the e-mu 0202

my budget is low, to the point around £100, I'm not looking for multiple instrument recordings etc
