Tired of spending money...

I'm new to home studio recording. My goal is not to have the top of the line professional studio so much as to have something both effective and sturdy without going way over the top, but without cutting corner and make compromise after compromise...

A small interface for XP64/Vista64
Forums
I just upgraded my mixing/mastering DAW to a Quadcore with 8GB RAM, Nuendo and vista64 and XP64 (got connections at work 8) ) and to my frustration found out that there are only old crappy XP64 beta drivers for my delta, that don't even work (at least not in my case... nice work M-Audio! you suck! ).

Difference between Ouput and Gain...
Forums
I recently purchase a Tube Mp USB..., which I use my new AT4040 with. Now I have read the manual and it doesn't explain it clear enough for me. What is the difference between the Gain and the Output. Also if someone would put in simple terms what the Impediance button would do, and Limit, and Phase invert, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Blake

Creating spacey feel in a small room..
Forums
Hey everyone,
I'm mostly a sort of bedroom studio for learning but have come across a song which I thought would be nice for me to try and replicate for a mix.

putting in beats
Forums
Hey guys I'm a bit new to all of this. I have not long ago bought myself a Tascam DP-02 MTR. Its great having a lot of fun. Need to somehow add in drums and synth sounds. As i do not have a drum kit nor 3000 mics I have narrowed my options down to maybe Korgs's Drum/synth machine of Cubase 4. What do you guys think would be better for putting in beats?

Wave Audio Editing Program... Your Opinion...
Forums
I am curious as far as wave editing programs go which one is regarded as the elite. Is it Wavelab 6, Soundforge 9, or Audition CS3. I am just curious, I seem to hear a lot of people say soundforge, which seems wierd since it is cheaper than all the others, but then again money isn't everything. Now I personally only work with wave & MP3 files, No MIDI work.

Midi moving from intended spot - PLEASE HELPPPPP!
Forums
I've got an interesting problem which is hopefully easily fixed.
I'm running a M-Audio usb keyboard into Nuendo 1.5.
The midi when testing has no latency issues and records fine, however once I listen to the data played back, it for some reason seems to get out of sync with the music.
It gets behind, almost like its been moved forward.
