Printer Ink for Epson R380

I've been using an Epson R380 for labeling small runs of CDs. Very pleased with it for this use. Of course, the downside is the cost of ink which is about the same price as gold dust. For those that are using the Epson, what sources/manufacturers are you using for ink?

(I know this there are some suggestions in older threads, but I thought I'd get fresher info.)

new computer... which MOBO? And other questions.

My old computer died the other night... after some general trouble shooting I think I have narrowed the problem down to either the motherboard (MSI k8t Neo FSR) or the CPU (AMD 64 3000+). As you can tell, the comp. was about 4-5 yrs old so I have decided to build a new one instead of trying to hunt down and replace the suspect parts.

Cheapest 2 channel firewire interface for bedroom recording?

PreSonus Inspire?

I'm looking for something for my friend who sings and plays piano and just wants to get a relatively clean recording. Right now she's just using her computer's built in mic/card and getting very noisy results without the ability to adjust the input gain. So I'm looking for a very simple firewire interface. Budget is the main consideration.

Korg MR 1000

Does anyone have experience (good or otherwise) with the Korg MR 1000?

I'm thinking of getting one for field work. Mainly ambient recording. Nature sounds etc. I'm not able to find any info regarding the Korg and M/S decoding.

Can anyone advise me if the Korg does do M/S. Also, if anyone has a suggestion for a recorder of similar cost, I'm open for suggestions.

Shure AXS 4. Same thing as PG81?

I've been using a Shure AXS 4 off and on for the last 5 years or so. It was the only condenser mic I had access to, and has been great at recording acoustic guitar and okay on some vocals. I can't find much info about it, though. I noticed that it looks externally identical to the currently manufactured Shure PG81.
