Vocal Recording
Hey Guys,
Can you let me know what you think of the quality of this vocal recording? Any suggestions as to what might make the vocal sound better (EQ or otherwise)?
It was not recorded in a booth, and as such does not have a 100% focused sound, so I'm not looking for comments regarding that. Looking more for your thoughts on clarity and tonal balance...

Vocal Recording Problems
Hey everyone,
I'm having some problems regarding recording vocals, they are:
-Vocals sound on-pitch/in tune with music heard through headphones (Sennheiser HD280 Pro Closed-Backs), but when played back through speakers, they are noticably (in my opinion) out of tune during some parts.

Is my vocal track recoverable?
Here's the situation. I recorded a VoIP call of mine, and instead of using the wave-out for the capture, I captured a mono direct mic feed. As a result, I'm faced the following issues:
1) Motherboard interference (integrated soundcard)
2) Barely audible second person. (audio was captured from headphones)
3) TOO audible "ME".

Dirty Vintage Vocal Sound?
what do you think is the bet way to get a dirty vocal sound like some of the early 60's rock bands. Vintage mics? Any suggestions. I really like the sound of the vocals from this one band from seattle called the sonics. Check it out and let me know if you have any ideas?

male vocal mic recommendation
Hi
I'm trying to find a vocal mic for my own voice that has a bit of bite without sounding too cheap. My voice is smoothish (hear it at http://www.mooremusic.comau if you want)
Im currently using either
1 a RODE K2 which I find gives a 'too smooth' 'closed in' type of sound with no openness

opinions on mic for vocals
hey folks, I am starting a mobile recording company and need to get a bunch of good (not great) mics quickly. So, the first purchases are for close mic'ed choral groups. Close meaning about 6-8 feet. I'll need three of the same type mics for these first applications. Eventually, I will need a variety of mics for symphonic all the way to contemporary project sessions.

Recording Vocals with AKG and Adobe Audition
I am using an AKG 400 series Vocal mic. I am also Using Adobe Audition as my recording software. I have the settings on my mic for a bass roll off (or a highpass filter which i think I should turn back on) and a -10db cut.
