Hedd 192 clock

Hi guys!

My config is Hedd 192 SPDIF to 2408 SPDIF
I am trying to sync (slave) a 2408mk1 to Hedd(master) via wordclock.2408 in HEDD out
I used to sync via SPDIF but lately I have problems and I am trying workclock.
when I am recording a stereo track I hear a lot of white(maby) noise on one side!
If I don't use wordclock its ok but then there is no sync!

why use 192's if in the end you go down to 44

quicky

why the hell do people use 192khz if at the end of the day it gets burnt at 44.1khz..

this isn't my question
its a mates question...
no doubt a stupid one..
which is why i want an answer.. so i can rub in that he is stupid

and if not... well.. drop the subject and move on to somthing random...
Thanks a lot :D:D

UA 2192

Much talk about Apogee, Lucid, RME, and all the usual suspects in the mid-level/pro converters available. I did a search for this UA 2192 and found a dismal amount of opinions. I just got the new Sweetwater catalog (along with a new credit card, ouch...) and the irony is too strong to discount the intent of purchasing some new gear.
