Hello! Advice for a beginner on A Home Setup :D

Hi Guys.

I'm Mike. I am 22 & from Australia. As the Title might suggests I am new to the world of Audio engineering... Please be Kind :D I'm also not 100% sure this is the right place to post lol. It does say newbie so I will stick it in here for the moment...lol

SO I am now looking for a System that I can make into a recording SetUp.

Need advice on what to send to a label in order to get a "release of claims". . .

So I'm working on the birth of a record label that will be releasing old field recordings of local heritage type music. A decade or two ago my boss gave some of those recordings to County Records and they used some of them in a compilation. My boss has the original masters and nothing was signed when he handed over copies of the recordings.

drummer seeks advice for building studio in sucky garage

Hey y'all
I'm new here, hope i'm posting in the right place.
I have a rare opportunity - a month and a half with pay but no work, and gotta stay at home because we have a newborn kid. I want to build a studio in my garage, which is relatively big with a hard tile floor as in the pic below:
