Spectrum Analyzer Purchase Advice/Leads...

Help! I've been looking for days for a moderatly price rackmount spectrum analyzer. Minimum 10 band 20hz-20khz if possible with two channel input preferably, so I don't have to purchase two of them.

I've seen the Alto RSA-27, but never used their equipment, and it only has one channel input and 40hz -16khz. Concerned that 40hz isn't low enough...

Hi,

I was asked by a friend to record his church choir. The choir size is 20 people and will be recorded at the church. I was leaning to the SM81's in an XY or ORTF configuration, along with one of my large condensor mics with the ISA428.

What would be the best mic choice and configuration out of the mics I have?

Recording Engineer Student looking for advice.

I am a recording engineering student and I'm working on my final two projects before graduation. I am looking for advice on mic selection and techniques. It would be nice to beable to experiment until I find something I like but I would rather get some expert advice first. The style is fast pop punk along the lines of New Found Glory and Green Day.
