Hi, I just registered and figured I'd jump in with a tech question. I hope to learn a lot from all of you and maybe even be able to contribute at some point howdy
Interface pair up with Apogee AD16X
Hi everyone,
So I'll be buying an Apogee AD16X soon for my main converter and I was wondering what interface you guys
would recommend getting for it. I'll be using an iMac with Cubase 6.
I don't need any preamps on the interface, just strictly an interface for monitoring, and Cubase.

MOTU conversion/audio quality vs. APOGEE & RME
I would like to know if anyone can tell me for sure if it's worth paying
the extra price difference between a MOTU and something like an Apogee Ensemble or a RME UFX?
This is mainly a question of sound quality difference
Apogee Duet Hi-Z Inputs?
Hi,
Does the Apogee Duet (first one) have Hi-Z inputs? I can't seem to find anything on the matter.
Thanks

Apogee Ensemble or RME Fireface UFX?
Ill be using it with a iMac and Cubase 6.
This will be my main Recording interface, will be used with external preamps for tracking "rock" drums, guitar, vocals, exclusively in my home studio.
I know the feature differences between the two, my question is on the audio quality, does one have better conversion quality or Pres?

Logic / Apogee Duet II:
I'm seeking advice in my home studio upgrade, and I figure this is the best place to come for some help.
From about 2004 until recently I have been recording with the original MBox and Pro Tools LE. While it served its purpose, I've been generally unhappy with the sound I've gotten out of it.

How to use my Apogee two devices to record 24 bit-96 kHz whit Pro-Tools 9 ?
Hello,
I want a configuration solution for just stereo recordings (piano). I would submit the problem here.
Equipment involved:
Apogee Duet 2
Just saw that this just came out. I like the 2 balanced outputs being offered.
Interesting that it is USB 2.0 and not Firewire.
Wonder when all the Thunderbolt interfaces will hit.
