Description

Audio interfaces convert microphone and instrument signals into a format your computer and software recognize. The interface also routes audio from your computer out to your headphones and studio monitors.

It acts as the bridge between the music you create and your DAW (digital audio workstation). Audio interfaces often include built-in preamps, headphone jacks, and monitor controls, and they come in various types to accommodate Thunderbolt, USB, FireWire, Ethernet, and PCI connections. Plus, audio interfaces are available at several price points, from budget-friendly units to advanced professional models. If you plan on making music using a computer, you'll need an audio interface!

Can this Audio Interface work with these Headphones

Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 USB interface
Analog Output Impedence is 10 ohms

New to all of this, so I am wondering if I could use these headphones without the need of a seperate headphone amp.

These headphones are the ones I have researched and am trying to decide which one to get for best flat, neutral sound in my price range.

Please help me choose an audio interface! Narrowed down to a few options :)

  • Hey guys,

Was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for any decent audio interfaces that can also properly drive my AKG K 240 headphones (impedance 55 ohms), I'm using a laptop with pretty good specs for EDM production. Budget < $200.

Also, I only use soft synths so don't need many MIDI inputs, just mainly a headphone out to plugin my headphones!
