Headphone noise bleed into recording...
Lately I've been having a hard time controlling the bleed from my headphones into my recording mix. I like to put a live monitor into the guitar players headphone mix along with a click-track metronome.

Preventing track bleeding in Cakewalk
Cakewalk Home Studio 2

I imported an mp3 file of music to track 1.
I recorded vocals on track 2 with a microphone.
When playing back and listening to track 2 by itself, (with the mp3 music from track 1 muted); there is the presence of the mp3 music from track 1 mixed in with the vocals on track 2.

how do u kill hi-hat bleed in the snare?
ok i have a 57 pointed toward the middle of the snare..simple basic mic placment...
is there any compressor settings or some secret technique or placment to kill some hat bleed?

Best Tracking Headphones/No Bleed
Anybody have recommendations for headphones that won't bleed? I'm using Sony 7506's right now, but the click track is bleeding too much for my tastes

How do I record a singer/guitarist with minimal bleed?
Here is my problem - I have a singer/guitarist that only sings well when he plays the guitar at the same time. I would like 2 separate recordings with minimal bleed. How do I do this?
Too much hi-hat bleed on the snare mic
Since you guys know a lot of the hardware side, you must know a trick or two on the mic placing science...
I am recording a drum set, everything is fine except for the snare mic getting too much hi-hat signal, I am using a venerable SM57 into an Avalon 737SM (mercenary), using the snare preset...any suggestions..
