Hooking Mixer to Computer
Hi, I have a M-Audio delta/66 Omni Studio computer based recording system. I just bought a Yamaha EMX 2000 Mixer to hook my drum mics into and use for my band. I do not know how to set up the mixer so it goes through the omni studio into my pc. Right now I have intrument cables going from the mixers stereo Output L and R into my omni studios direct outs 1 and 2. I have no idea what to do.

Computer system MUCH better than Multitrack Recorder?
Howdy everyone,
New to the forum but not recording. Unfortunately, I come from the pre-existing multitrack recording studios from wayyy back. Every recording device I have ever owned was a multitrack recorder from the cassette porta-04 studio to my current Roland digital 8-track.
Recording audio onto computer, question
I have been recording onto my laptop for a while and I have Sonar Foundary Acid 3.0. I use a Yamaha Motif 8 keyboard and a Shure 58 mic and I use a mixer before plugging it into the soundcard. My question is how you can get the keyboard and vocal parts to be separate on the computer.

Replacing drum tracks with samples/Computer question
Ok,
I downloaded the Drumagog demo and I like the plugin , but the demo samples are cheap sounding. Does anyone have this plugin ...is the full thing worth the money? Is there a better way of replacing drum tracks with samples? The drum tracks I tried it on didn't have the best timing so it made them a lot worse and cheap sounding. probably user error.
