We have been using a Soundcraft K2/40 for a little over ten years. It is time for a change as the board is malfunctioning. We plan to stay analog with the next board because it fits our needs and the pricing is in our budget. We have been looking at the Soundcraft GB8/40, the Allen & Heath GL3800/40 and the Crest Audio HP8/40.

I was lucky enough to get two BFE MV1 Preamps and two BFE MK2 Eqs..
But unfortunately I didn't succeed in finding a rack or console yet to test them.
Has anyone experience how a DIY construction could be made or does anyone offer that service?

Hi guys,

I was just given a Biamp 2442 Recording Console. I am going to have to get the power supply fixed I think. I was thinking about using it as a summing mixer or for its pres since its got Direct outs on every channel. Or just selling it as is for a few bucks. Its in really good shape i mean almost zero wear even the leather hand rest is in perfect condition.

So...I bought an audioarts 8x console, and besides being excited to use its "super mediocre" eqs as remy put I am thinking about how to get the most out of it.

I currently have a 2-bus lt and a monitor st, but will probably want to get rid of them now and sum through the board.
