Does anybody have any ideas or know how to get a vocal track clean from drums/acoustic guitars bleeding into the mic on a live multitrack recording?



I did a session years ago before I had better technique in getting a live multitrack recording.:roll:

I am having a hard time getting a good punchy, yet bassy tone out of my kick drum. when i do double bass rolls i want to be able to hear it and feel it which leads me to my next issue



the kick seems to be getting lost in the mix. not sure if these issues coincide one another but i would really appreciate and info you can provide me to fixing this

Hey folks. Let me give you a brief setup and see if you can guide me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought superior drummer 2.0 and love it! The only problem that I see is the high hats. They don't sounds realistic. Anyone have any ideas on how to make them sounds more realistic? I have Waves Renaissance for plugins. Should I just buy a high hat and record it?

Me and my friend are having some trouble recording drums into logic. So we've got a kit all the mics going into the usb mixer going into macbook into logic but it all goes into 1 track. We really need each mic to have its own channel for panning etc. Can anybody help?

I just started using Cubase 4 and am fairly new to midi.



I've noticed the drum map for the midi keyboard in C4 and I have my Ensoniq ESQ1 hooked up via midi. I've noticed that I can get more sounds from the drum map than I can from what the keyboard will access on the map.

Nothing like grading partial differential equations exams to make you break out the Christmas music. Put on my all time favorite - Vince Gauraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack. I love the recording, but started to listen to it with my recording engineers hat on. (I'm not a recording engineer, but play one in my basement.
