i'ma a nuendo/sx/Samplitude 7 user... i use a delta 1010 right now but i was thinking about switching to a digi001 or the new digi002 rack for PT.. i can't get the sound i want out of Sx right now.. while under PT i didn't have a problem...

is it worth the change?

does the 002 work with older plugins (for example 001 plugins? ) AS well, is a g4 867 adequate or should i get a 1gig processor?

Presently about to set myself up with a mixing station---digi 001 or 002 system with Mackie hr 824's and i'm trying to figure out what is best?

Anyone out there have this configuration and what is there mac setup or recommendations?

I am fairly new to all of this and I am finding very hard to make a final descision about setting up my home studio. I was going to set up with a digi 002, and an octopre (for recording drums) running on a 2.4 Ghz P4. But I am worried that I will out grow this setup as soon as I start working on more commercial type projects.

Biting the bullet because of my click and pop problems with my old P3 machine, I upgraded to:

ok, so i'm going to get a digi 002...what would you recommend to use as the laptop for it. i tend to like macs, but what is the best bang for the buck out there? so you need a computer all tricked out and fast, or will something cheaper do?

hi. i'm thinking of getting PT digi 002, but i want to run it on a titanium powerbook. when will i be able to get software [version 6?] that will let it run on OS X?

because having to run 9 too kinda stinks.

I can't seem to find any reviews on the net, can't seem to find anyone who's actually bought the thing yet, and can't seem to get any info other than the same two paragraph "hype" that Digidesign has up on their webpage.
