unique drum Micing situation, advice needed.
here is my situation:
my drummer has a sh*tload of drum mics and a sh*tload of drums, a huge set, and likes to use them all when redcording. He also has a Peavey PV20 mixer with 16 mic inputs. This is what we use for live sound but we are about to start recording using it.
Drum Mixing
Ok this is my first post on this site, but I have been reading all the great info on here for a couple years now...I'm in the midst of recording my band on my Korg D16, yes I know its not the greatest, but I know how to use it very well.

Drum compression priorities
Hello, I'm pretty amateur at this whole recording business and it shows with my limited equipment I'm mostly interested in what people think is the order of importance of drum compression on 'rock' drums (not really for normal rock music, the musical style is in the vein of Fugazi, Cap'n Jazz, Hot Snakes, Gang of Four etc) as I've only got two mono hardware compressors, two mixers (each with st

Editing Midi Drum Tracks
Hey guys,
I am planning to record a drummer playing an electric drum kit through Midi and then use VST effects to enhance the sound.

Drum Triggers
Hey guys and gals,
I'm looking to get some triggers so I can play some beats or w/e and then on the computer assign some samples to each trigger or manipulate the sounds on the computer or use it with Reason or something.

Drum samples for hard rock
This summer I will be producing a demo for a friend of mine.
Well I need a few different hard rock kits. every thing from a metal kit to a fat 70's rock kit.
I am using logic to do the production. So I am looking to buy either a program with samples or just a sample library that I can map to the esx24.
