Roomy drum tracks

I have some really roomy drum tracks that I am unfortunately stuck with.



I was wondering what I could do in the DAW to remedy this?



I canned the room mic, brought the OHs down a bit, chopped the tom tracks to eliminate bleed, and tried some compression - Still no luck.

hello everyone I'm new to the site and somewhat to recording dabbled a little bit here an there anyway just wanted to get some input on overhead drum Micing the thing is i dont have a matched stereo pair of condersers but i do have two there both medium budget mxl's a 603 and 2003 which is more a vocal mic

I been googling around and I'm finding v.little on how to make your own drum maps. I been wanting to learn how to do it for ages now but I have never found a v. straight forward step by step...



Can any one point me in the right direction ? I have so many drum samples yet to use lol
