Eiosis AIR-EQ from Fabrice Gabriel

This is a fairly new processor - released in early 2015 - and developed by Fabrice Gabriel, who has done quite a bit of modeling for Slate Technologies, (although this particular one isn't a Slate Product) this EQ is interesting, both in the way it's designed, and in the way that it reacts - which is user determined by the "types" of EQ'ing you want to do.

Compression & EQ - in what order do you use them ?

I thought a discussion would be in order, considering that most of us will often use both.

Accordingly, I thought it would be interesting to see what our members think, and how you approach the order of EQ and Compression in a mix...

The discussion doesn't need to be limited to just the track level, or just the bus level.

Smart EQ - Sonible's Frei:Raum

A "smart EQ". Interesting concept.

"The core of frei:raum is a fully interactive equalizer with state of the art mastering quality. Each band can either be used in classical mode for manual EQing, or in the unique "smart" mode, offering automatic detection and removal of problematic resonances in different frequency bands."
