I understand that the ADC adapter actually allows for the A/D conversion of 8 tracks; four from the unit in which the adapter is installed and four from the XLR ADC inputs on the back of the unit.

I just recently purchased a Focusrute ISA 428. I am trying to make up my mind as to whether I need to also get the MH-442 ADC adapter.

Without the ADC adapter, I would simply be running the four outputs of the ISA 428 to the inputs of my soundcard breakout box.

Klein + Hummel 0300D

I am just looking for people who have had any experience with these units. I am looking to buy the 0300D's and also would like to know peoples views on the above preamps.

Does it accurately replicate other pres like it claims? Fromt he reviews, it kind of sounds like a good deal- but then there's the price. Is it worth it?

After a few month out now, I'm interested if anyone of you has tried the Focusrite Liquid Channel. Remembering a very lively discussion in this Forum when it first came out, I just wanted to know if you have any experience how the Channel works in use.

So, I can only buy one of the pres we discussed, and they were the Langevin Dual Vocal Combo and the Focusrite ISA428.

I am using Soundcraft Ghost as my main preamp for recording of acoustic instruments. I want to improve my the sound quality. I need a very high-endpreamp for most of my acoustic work. For this I short list AMEK 9098 Eq, Focusrite ISA 220, Langevin DVC. Please suggest me the best one for the highest quality.
