guitar amp speaker cable
Hi!
What do i need to say in a electric shop that i wan to buy a cable that can handle the power of my guitar amp to my speaker? Isn't the same as the cable that runs the signal from my guitar to the power amp...
Regards,
Murdock

recording guitar amps
I really enjoyed the bass amp thread, so i thought it would be fun to have another thread on recording guitars. i guess I'm being selfish and i want this for my own benefit, but lets talk about music styles and whatnot.

mic recommendation for high-gain guitar amp AND vocals?
Hi, I need a new mic for recording vocals and guitar and figured there must be a well-priced large-diaphram codenser that will work for both. The amp set up is basically a Mesa rectifier through a 4x12 recto cab.
Which Mic for Guitar Amp?
Hi, I am looking for an accurate mic to get the sound from my Carr Mercury amp, I feel as I spent money good money on my amp that I need a good mic for recording to get the true sound. My budget is $500 - $1000.
What mic do you recommend?

2 guitar amps & 2 mics
Ive done some recording using 2 guitar amps and two mics (sometimes even 2 mics per amp),panned left and right at the board, using two channels, to try to get that big (I'm standing next to the amp----big room---full sound).
Does anyone out there use this method?-if not,how about some ideas

Dynamic or condenser on Guitar amp?
Hey guys! I've been using an Shure sm57 for recording a guitar 2x12 cab. I was wondering what I would expect if I used a Studio projects C4 condenser on it. I'm buying a SP C3 for vocals and am wondering if I should buy a pair of C4's.
PS- It would be a overdriven or heavy distortion guitar tone(line6 Duoverb amp)
