Best Firewire/USB Interface for Under or Around $200?
Alot of people say the Mackie Onyx Satellite has some really quality mic preamp's and quality drivers/converters, especially for the price.
Anybody have experience with this one or have better advice?
Thanks!
A Good Interface For Under $200?
Quick question, I want to buy an audio interface so I can record my vocals with my MXL 909 Vocal Condensor, but I have a budget limit of $200. I head that M-Audio Mobile Preamp was the best out there for that price. I wanted to know if that is true or if there are better options? Thank You 8-)

Adding an audio interface for imac and garageband
Hi,
Firstly-Sorry in advance for the length of this question! I've been playing with a mac intel imac OS X 10.4.7 and garageband just using line-in ports for electric guitar/inbuilt mic for acoustic guitar and vocals for a while now and I'd like to get it to sound a bit better using an audio interface...
New Interface help (what to get?)
Hey guys,
I'm having a big issue on what recording interface to upgrade to. Keep in mind I'm upgrading from a M-Audio MobilePre USB, so anything will be a significant increase in happiness :) ...hopefully, but I'm being really fickle with everything though and keep changing my mind. Here's what I'm looking at. I have a few questions as well if you don't mind helping me out.

Age Old Audio Interface Question
Hi all, this is a question I'm sure has been asked before (a similar one by ME) but I'll go ahead and ask it anyway. I posted it in the pro audio section but I guess this forum is more correct.
I'm a drummer/guitarist/songwriter. I'm setting up a 'portable' studio as I can't record drums where I live.

Interface for Dynamic Mic like SM7?
I am recording with a Macbook Pro, and thinking about getting a SM7B for hip hop vocals. I'm kind of new to this, and I know that dynamic mics don't need phantom power and all of that like condensers do... so, this may be a dumb question, but does that mean that there's a cheaper option for me as far as an interface goes without sacrificing too much sound quality?

Audio interface for an iMAC
Hello all,
I am looking for a simple solution to record acoustic guitar (perhaps a bit of electric too) though an iMAC (2.0 GHz processor with 1GB memory) using GarageBand. I’ve been playing for quite some time and just want a simple/inexpensive solution to capture my practice sessions.
I’d like to be able identify an audio interface to support the following:

MAC Interface with least noise out of Preamps?
I'm upgrading my studio. Have a M-Audio Firewire 410 interface that's been giving me all sorts of trouble (software interface is buggy, drops out and comes back garbled, etc.).
Been looking hard at the PreSonus Firestudio (8 XLR Pres, 26x26 total with the optical I/O - never used the optical I/O on the 410, but need to experiment with that...need cables yet).
