A question about some mixing/interface consoles.

Is there a console or an interface that has faders on each channel that you recorded that you can adjust the level of the highs and lows? or is there just a fader for volume? Because i know you can get an interface like the M-Audio project mix that has the auto fades. But is there something that i can hook up to my pc that alows me to do that too, also not owning any pro=tools gear.

sound interface advice

I'm looking for a sound interface for recording guitars or bass mainly . no Micing stuff. just to create a refference material for our songs by recording and mixing at home and then doing it at a professional studio.
i dont need many inputs. just need a decent quality sound interface so i can hook up my moitors with it and electric or semi acoustic guitars.

recording interface for soundbooth (what do I need?)

greetings all,

I'm in the market for a computer-based hardware interface to record vocalists with a variety of microphones including condensator mics.

I want the vocalists to lay down lyrics to pre-produced tracks, recording using a pc-based sequencer (e.g. cooledit).

I will build a soundproof booth for the vocalists and arrange the recording i a control-room.
