Virtual Keyboards as M1 into Cubase LE4

I like to record sounds in Cubase LE4, but although the sounds From the M1 is played via Yamaha CS1x the sound is heard by me from the speakers. BUt the midi on Cubase isn''t triggered! My processor is AMD, and just everything I use from VST works except the Virtual instruments by KORG as Wavestation, M1 etc. Would love to use the sounds of KORG in my productions!

Roland Juno-type keyboard song player...

Juno keyboards with the USB flash-drive function on top panel that can play back WAV, MP3, AIFF, etc.

Downloaded manuals for all applicable models, searched through instructions, analyzed MIDI Implementation charts, and still have no conclusive answer.

Emailed Roland, got zilch. Following is my email, and their non-answer:

midi keyboard controller choices

I am currently looking to get a midi keyboard controller for my setup, and have been stuck on three choices for a week now. The M-audio Axiom Pro 49, Akai MPK49, and Novation sl mkii 49. I have heard both good and bad things from people on all three of these and cannot decide. If it is any consellation i will be running Cubase with this controller.
Thanks for any replies.

Connecting a keyboard to a mixing console.

When I plug the keyboard directly into an input I get static. Even on the lowest of volume. When I connect the keyboard to a DI box and take the output of the DI into a preamp, I get little sound. I have literally tried everything. And I have run out of ideas. Help would very much be appreciated. Thanks!
