Where might I locate a Manely EL OP compressor for a good priceIve read TOO many good things about the comp.

If you had a choice of either a Manley Langevin, or, Manley dual mono or a Sebatron preamp for mainly vocals,which one would you choose ?-and why

Im trying to decide which preamp/com to purchase.
Its going to be a Manley or a Sebatron ,Im kinda looking for that thick-rich-semi tubbie tone :? if you know what i mean.

It's great to find such an informative forum, and also people still willing to give advice. .(or maybe it's all advice to mislead the "masterworld sheep" who must be kept glued to their L2 Relgion of thinness, mud and mediocrity - all in order to save the world from the everyman producer). I'm thinking of investing in a DI and a few of my friends have recommended the Avalon and the Manley. I'm not sure how each one fairs up so yes, would very much appreciate it if I could get some opinion?

With the low Dollar American products are very good value at the moment. I'm looking for a nice characterful compressor to add to my collectionand this one has been recommended, (Albeit by the importer!). Anyone know anything good or bad? 8)

Is there anyone who knows if the TUBE-TECH is as versatile as the Vari mu?
Is the blue one capable of smashing pretty hard the stereo bus if that is needed?

I am want to go out of my MOTU rack from DP to a summing mixer. I have heard great things about the Dangerous 2-bus and the Manley 16x2. Which one has more headroom and sound better. I am interested in sound only. I don;t need the knobs. I will be doing all automation in computer.
