I am planning on sending a couple Wav. files off to be professionally mastered. Should I remove the DC offset with Sound Forge prior to it going to the ME? Thanks all.

Well I figured out my pop and click problem. I juut needed to switch to ASIO drivers. But Today during my first session with the Firepod. I was having trouble setting up a headphone mix. Im using Sonar % producer edition, and I had the Cue send plugged into my Headphone amp, and I had the aux sends sent to a "headphone" channel. But I could not get a mix going.

I'm running pro tools le, how can I listen to my mix in mono? I've heard people say that you need to make sure it sounds good in mono too, is this correct?

Hello all. I am curious as how to print a stereo mix inside of pro tools. I've done it numerous of time with a patchbaybut I'm trying it on my home rig for the first time. I have a 002 with 6.9.2. I'm almost positive I must do something with my I/O setups, but maybe not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I've been mixing my tracks and getting diverse results - some sound great, others are taking a lot more effort. I'm working with pop/urban (eg. Black Eyed Peas, Britney, Outkast, Justin Timberlake), so I'm looking for a full frequency response and maximum RMS.

What sort of processor would be good for adding character or generally improving/changing/softening a computer generated mix of soft synths etc.

Something under £500 if possible!

I have a UAD-1 card, but I would like opinions on hardware as a comparison.
