Me and a couple friends are working on a band we have a few songs written for, and our lineup (even live) would be this.

The laptop will be running programmed drums, keyboards and other samples from FL Studio.

di box between amp and mixer ?

sorry if this is a novice question but i have gotten a new amp recently a new marhall mg halfstack. I need to run it through to my Tascam portastudio 2488neo. there is no mixer output on the new amp. i was wondering is it even recomendable to run out from the spare cabinet extension on my head through a di box and straight into my Tascam?

M-Audio 1010LT and +4db mixer

Hi guys.

I have a soundcard M-Audio 1010LT. My mixer's output are at +4db. Should I put all inputs at +4dBu on my M-Audio Control Panel ?

Also, any particular care for the inputs 1 and 2 on the 1010LT ? I know that these XLR inputs have preamps, so to my understanding they provide phantom power. It it safe to input directly from the mixer ?

Thanks !

Pricing on an OLD vintage mixer?

I don't know if anyone could help me on this. .but I've had this old mixer and extender sitting in my basement for a few years. I decided to put it on Craigslist, but I have no idea what it is worth. and can't find ANYTHING about it on the interweb. I thought it wasn't worth much, so I put it up for $50. .within an hour I already had a bunch of interested buyers emailing me.

Need a new, small mixer

As of late my system involves a Delta 1010 sending to a Samson PL2404 mixer. Monitors are HR624s. The PL2404 has been very reliable but is a kink in the fidelity train. Time to upgrade. I don't need a ton of inputs. 4 stereo would suffice for now. I've looked at the newish Allen & Heath ZED series and feel like they would be a nice upgrade. Midas looks good as well.
