Hi ! I am pretty much a newbie, I basicaly record on my pc( dell dimension desktop) using cakewalk music creator 2. I use the session drummer along with my guitat tracks.

I have a 2 channel Stanton SK SIX battle mixer. The problem is, it only lets me hook up 2 CD players and 2 turntables. The thing is I want to hook my PC sound card to it so I can listen music from my PC to my mixer and also be able to go from the mixer to the PC sound card to record my mixes.

My friend has a karaoke cafe bar. He is using some kind of 16- mono channel live Mackie mixer (old one i guess, i can't remember the model). I have a problem finding the Record Out on that mixer.

On that one, it has Alt-Out 3/4, Bus Insert, and Aux Send something like that (no Tape In/Out). And on every channel it has a small button " Mute/ ALT 3/4".

Hi, I have the Behringer Eurorack UB1204FX Pro mixer. .i have been recording on this mixer for about a month. i love it. but i got a question about this mixer. It has AUX Sends and STEREO Aux Returns...i am wondering what they are..and what they do...can someone please help me out. Thanks in advance.

I want to know what the easiest and most cost effective way to connect an analog mixer to a computer is. I have $500, tops $600 to spend (for the mixer and whatever interface). I've looked at things like the Alesis USB mixers, they seem pretty cheap. I only want and need 4 channels.

How should I connect a mixer to an edirol UA-1A device to record into the computer? What should I use as monitors (receiver and speakers?, PA?) and how do I hook that up to the output of the UA-1A? I've been trying to record with this equipment for awhile now and i think i'm not setting it up properly. Thank you so much if anyone can help. .

I have 8 mics on my kit. 2 C1000 cond's overheads. sm57 under snare, 3 matching Audix mics on each tom a sm57 on the high hat and a brand new AKG D112 on the kick. Now i run that through my mixer direct outs into my 002R direct ins. When i do that should i pan on the mixer or in PTLE? or both? How bout EQ? I use the mixer cause the pres are better. Thanks
