i can't stand mixing by clicking the mouse and such,
i bought the Korg nancontrol2 but after plus 10 hours and trying to get it to work properly, i give up,
it there a half decent mixer, perhaps more like... analog then the nanokontrol that i could get?

I have a question that may sound naive for many here.

Since I felt that I needed something to control excessive signal peaks during tracking (especially while recording vocals),
I thought a compressor was the tool I needed.
The thing I bought is an Aphex Compellor 300, that should act as compressor, limiter and leveller in an unique piece of gear.

Hello everyone. I'm ready to start expanding beyond "in the box" (ITB) methods to "outside the box" (OTB) methods.

I have a nice old kasino 1600 mixer with 15 channels. It has a case built on to it. Its a really neat old piece. Its really dusty at this time but It will clean up nicely. I was hoping that somebody could tell me a little bit about it. History or otherwise. It does have a decibel meeter. Model # 1600-HI Serial # 10277. If you can tell me anything at all it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I do stand up comedy. Just got home from guitar center where I asked the guys there if this was possible. They sent me home with a Y cable that did not work. The idea is to tap in my iPad's sound through the club's microphone cable on stage while at the same time being able to talk and have them hear me as well.

Simple question really. But I don't know the answer.

I want to connect my monitors to my mixer, but I don't know which cables to use.

After having to use process of elimination to see if my mixer was the issue with a problem I was having, I now have 2 mixers for my podcast and I need to get rid of one. Was wondering if anyone has experience with both and might have a suggestion? I've used both briefly. The only thing I've noticed is that I need to turn the phones volume up a little more to hear the mics loudly.

Hi guys... I'm so stressed out from this problem. I keep thinking I've fixed this problem and then it comes back. I don't know what else to do and this is 3 weeks in the making now. If someone can help me with this, I will send you some money via paypal...
