Edirol or Roland monitors

Edirol is from Roland a company from Japan. Edirol means Edit Roland. I know how accurite thay make there speakers is since I actualy been to Japan and seeing how they make speakers and other products. I see how serious they are when they work and they rarely make mistakes on there products since they want there products to be there best.

choosing monitors...

I have a pair of Sampson monitors which tend to run very HOT and they make for brittle and small sounding tracks for me to use as a reference (i.e. regular CDs that I enjoy). Would it be better to use a pair of Infinity speakers (hifi) instead of these Sampson Resolv50a's (under $300 for the pair)?

Are there any good monitors to think about purchasing for under $500?

best active monitors for under $250 for Alesis qs8?

Hi,

Would love to get your advice on this. I see a whole bunch of options online, but don't really know what active monitors to get for my QS8 under $250.

Are the Roland DM20s the best I can do?
I honestly have no experience with this type of equipment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alex

Portable decent active monitors.

I need a pair of monitors to be taken with me for recording sessions. I have Adam P11's at home, and I'm not going to take them with me. Small monitors would be adequate and easily portable. So far I listened to:
-Roland 10 (good bass, lack of midrange, harsh treble)
-Edirol MA-7A (Good treble, lacking mids, no bass/exaggerated bass)
