Bob Katz wrote in his book, the JBL LSR are very good and linear.
A friend told me the Genelecs are the best.

Ok Im on a tight budget when it comes to purchasing the rest of the equipment for my studio. By any means...I wouldn't normaly go cheap when buying monitors...but I have to budget the money I have left...

What do you guys recommend. Right now I have Edirol MA10's and I HATE them.

Im working with some Resolv 80a's right now and they seem to lack in some areas, but I'm basically looking to uprade to a good pair that will last awhile. I hear about the Krk V-series alot, but there in the same price range as mine. but anyway if you got some advice on a good pair of Mo's I'm all ears. .I do mainly hip hop so take that into consideration.

I am wondering if anyone uses floor speakers as monitors. I was looking around today and found some good deals on some Boston Acoustic cr85 bookcase speakers and a Klipsch f1 set of floor speakers. Has anyone used either of these? Are you satisfied? Would anyone recommend another set of speakers?
