MOTU 896 Question
I recently purchased a MOTU 896 and a 1.5GB Powerbook/Logic Pro 6. I've done a few recording with the 8 Analoque ins and I'm really happy with the sound. Yesterday I tranfered some tracks from a Fostex D-90 via lightpipe (tracks 9-16) and I noticed that the 8 Analoque tracks could still be activated and used for recording.

Looking for MOTU 896 Cds
Hello,
I recently purchased a used MOTU 896, but the CDs were not included. I know the drivers are available via download, but I'd like to have a copy of the applications as well.

896HD to Minidisc transfer?
Hey, was wondering if there is any way to go from the Optical Out on my 896HD direct to minidisc via the optical output. I have the correct cable plugged into the 896HD to the Minidisc recorder, but cannot seem to get a signal. I am running OSX, and went to Audio Midi setup and used various settings, but it will not work.

Experiences with the MOTU 896HD
I just ordered a MOTU 896HD and it should be here on Thursday. I had a PreSonus Firepod, but returned it as it did not work as well for live sound. The XLR outputs and the assignable channels is why I ordered the Motu. I was wondering what other's experiences were with this device in either a recording setting or live. Thanks!

MOTU HD192 vs. . 896HD
I've seen in MOTU's site some of the HD192's specs that seem to outperform the 896 HD. I wonder if anybody has had a chance to make an A/B comparison between these two units.
Stuff like "192-kHz converters in the HD192 are the very same used in more expensive HD systems. With 120dB A-weighted dynamic range and a THD+N of 0.0005%" isn't said about the 896HD.

Adding Mini-Me
I would like to know how I should work an Apogee Mini-Me into my current set up. I'm currently running an 896 via fire wire into a dual gig G4. I'm running DP3.11, which I'm happy with. Right now my set up is that simple. I'm not doing anything with midi or any third party plugs-ins.
