help! logic newbie "vitual track" question.

hi there, i'm a logic newbie switching from pro tools, and i have a big question: you know how in PT there is the whole "virtual track" method of comping? what is the analogous process in Logic Pro 7?

also, if any of you are logic gurus, i'd love an email address to ask the occasional question!

thanks!

Newbie - Recording Acoustic Drums - Kind of Long Post

My partner and I are in the beginning stages of creating a recording studio. While we both have recorded in several professional studios, this is our first attempt at building our own. So far, it has been a good learning experience. By the way, our budget has been somewhat limited (aren't they all)?

Total newbie - help recording guitar please!

Hi guys,

as the subject suggests, I am a complete and total newbie at this whole music recording thing. I own a guitar (Takamine NP-15C) and a computer with a Creative SB Audigy LS soundcard.
I don't have any kind of cables or knowledge on what I need to combine the two in order to record to my PC (not even sure if the Audigy LS allows recording?).
