What kind of Plugins can I use with Pro Tools LE version 6.1.1?
Only RTAS?
No DX os VST?

so I'm just warndering after the recent thred on plate reverb is it worth it or can the digital reverbs do just as well?

i do all my recording and mixing in the daw with a few out boards and with the recent post about the plate reverb i started thinking. is every one satisfied with the reverb plugins such as the WAVES suit, or is a plate still considerd the end all be all.(basically should i condsider building one)

Anybody know of a db-matching plugin ? It would really make my life easier to have something that makes everything peak at the same level, as opposed to "grading on a curve" like normalization.

Ideas?

I made the Free Plugin Links thread so that everyone would be able to download a major portion of the best free plugins on the internet with minimal effort. The thread was aimed at standard effects processors, not crazy effects or virtual instruments. Also, there is a large slant toward VST plugs for Windows, not because of my choosing, but because this is mainly what's out there.

have you made any experience with the tc-thirty plugin from tc-electronic ?

As a result of my research & development " simulation of the VOX AC30 as a VST plugin ", the plugin tc-thirty is now available at tc-electronic :

Aside from the poorer tracking capabilities, can I get a free or very cheap compressor plugin that will function as well as a $100-200 outboard compressor? I'll be using the compressor on vocals and acoustic guitar.
