So I just installed LE a few days ago.. finally got around to recording some acoustic guitar tracks today to practice with it and I've run in to a problem: I'm trying to record a cover of "fell on black days" by soundgarden with the main rhythm guitar line doubled up and panned hard left and right.
I'm moving my setup from my Mac to my PC. Im using the 001 and going from LE 5.2 to LE 6.4 on XP. Is there a way to convert my sessions so I can continue working with them?
I noticed in the upgrade manual it says you can save a session copy and for pc compatability, but i dont think 5.2 has that. any insight will be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys. I am having a problem and I have researched google for three days now and have yet to find a solution. I am having trouble with Pro Tools opening. If I open a session with only audio tracks I don't have any problems.

It's pretty old I guess and after reading the specs I noticed that it doesn't even mention Windows XP. Will I even be able to install it? Do they even sell the upgrades from these earlier versions?
ok the entry level mac pro is $1999 at macmall.com and the imac 24" is about the same price. Which should i go with? The advantage of the imac is that the screen is already there. The advantage of the mac pro is that it is completely upgradeble. Are there upgrades for the iMac?
I just need honest opinions of what you would do in this situation.

Hello there, over the last year i've recorded and mixed about 50 songs in my bedroom/studio using my ol' digi001 - the persuasion of friends has led me to start thinking about sending these off to record labels etc - and i'd like to get them as good as i can using the equipment i've got - most importantly id like to run them thru my RNC 1773 compressor...
Just curious how many of you would like to see quick 'bouncing' (exporting) of projects out of Pro Tools instead of their only option of 'Real Time' bouncing?
Hey guys i was wondering if you can help me get rid of the annoying screens that pop up before i start pro tools. By accident when i switched to version 7 i selected digitranslator and Dvtoolkit. I didnt have an ilock and have no desire at the moment to use these types of software. Can anyone guide me as far as how to do this? Thanks in advance!
