Heard rumors that Pro Tools HD has problems with Windows XP Media Center. This true, or just more bull? Maybe TVPost knows this also...hehe.

My main DAW is Cubase SX3 which is running on a Dual - Dual Core 285 Opteron system, Windows XP Pro, SP2. The system also includes two Lynx AES16 Cards.

Hey, quick question. How do I set up a track so that my singer's listening to some reverb and compression on his vocals, but none is getting recorded in Pro Tools? I know i can do this without having to record 2 tracks at a time.

i hear sound but dont see it in pro tools

ive got a Behringer xenyx 2442 mixer

with an AKG 414 on the first channel

then output to the m box and into pro tools

now i can hear whatever I'm saying in the head phones and monitors

but it doesnt make the meter jump in pro tools in the mix screen

so i hear it but i dont see it

what can it be?

Hi,

This is the first time upgrading and need some info.

I have a G5 2.5 with 2.5gb of memory, running OS 10.4.3 and Pro Tools LE 7.0 with a 002R. I'd like to upgrade my OS and go to PT LE 7.1 before I get left to far behind.

Hi all,

I'm currecntly preparing my system for a live recording on Saturday night.

I have a digi 001 running on a mac G4 with Pro Tools LE.

We will have two vocals tracks and two keyboard tracks, we're planning on running the 4 channels out of the Mackie mixer straight to the digi001 ie - analog 3 4 5 6.

Recording an analog tape deck into pro tools session

Hey everyone. My dad was asking me if theres a way to get his tapes from way back when, and put them into a Pro Tools session so he could mess with them and put them onto CD cause there starting to age. I tried going from the headphone of the tape deck into the input 1 of the digi002 but it was distorted and waving in and out.
