Ok, so now that M-Audio has added PT support for the Delta66, I went ahead and downloaded the demo so I can mess with it and learn. There one thing that's stumping me though.

I'm looking for a digital mixer that offers Pro Tools control (preferably touch sensitive to avoid delay in reacting in fast moving fader action caused by non-touch sensitive time-out). Also I'm trying to see if I find one that also offers plugin automation control.

Also to have at least 8 high quality mic preamp amps (preferably 12 or more).

Is there something in Pro Tools that allows me to change the tempo of a song without affecting the notes? Example: band records perhaps, 5 beats a minute too fast and would like to slow down the song a bit. Is there something in Pro Tools that allows me to change the tempo while still keeping the same notes?

my oxygen 8 keyboard is running through the midi channel, and i can see the signal when i hit the keyboard, but i can't hear any sounds. i get patch files sometimes, but i want to know how to hear them!

Everytime i push record i get a screen that randomly comes up and tells me my operating system held off interrupts for too long, and then it tells me to adjust the sample rate, and when i lower it or raise it, i still get the same message, and it interrupts my recording.

I don't know what is happening. I have MAC g4 with a digi001. I am on OSX using Pro Tools LE 6.4. This past summer I edited and overdubbed a whole album over two months. I worked about 8 hours a day with no problems. Recently i have taken on a new project and ran into a wall. I am getting weird digital pops and clicks on my playbacks when I start editing.

forgive my ignorance but I am having a problem with bouncing tracks to wav files in Pro Tools.

i know that you have to use m powered pro tools with m audio interfaces and vice versa for pro le and Digidesign interfaces but can you open m powered sessions on a le system or HD system if you wanted to do some more tracking or mixing in another studio. I know you can do this with the original le systems... going between tdm, hd, and le setups. i hope this is the same for m powered to?

I am interested in getting a macbook pro and I was originally looking to run pro tools 7 le as my primary software but then found out that it is not compatable at the moment. I recently have heard that logic pro runs very well on the new macbooks.

002R clocking to M-Audio Octane via ADAT.

The Octane's dB meters shows the signal to be around
-20 to -10 dB but the Pro Tools input meter shows it clipping badly.

And, listening to it, it is clipping badly.

I have to keep the signal at -20dB or below on the Octane's front panel to avoid clipping within Pro Tools.
