I haven't encountered this before but when I recently bounced a mix down from 24/96 to a stereo file at 16/44.1, what I got back didn't sound like what I was bouncing (i.e. levels, certain EQ didn't seem quite the same). I was using "convert after bounce", "best" quality to a stereo interleaved BWF file. Any ideas?

anybody ever seen this come up when opening Pro Tools: error -192 ? out of the blue PT won't open, instead this error message which stalls my iMac G5 - must reboot manually. i recently upgraded to Tiger, but have been running PT just fine on it for at least 1 month. Any insight much appreciated.

When installing a plugin do I want to download the Audio Units or VST version first off. also then after installing...when I am in Pro Tools how do I go and select that plugin to show up under AudioSuite. So AudioUnits or VST and then how do I get them to show up in Pro Tools.

I was wondering, is there any difference in sound quality between Pro Tools le and Cubase sx3. .i know that an individual should chose a software that he or she is comfortable with, but I'm curious to know if the digi 002 firewire is any different from an onyx firewire setup..isn't the sound quality the same?

I am looking for a free plugin for pro tools that I can play the vocal track aand it will show a graphic of the eq spectrum showing the frequencies and stuff like whats most dominant and stuff. .

OK - Let's say I have created a Mix/Edit group and I have that group selected and I want to Record Enable that group without going to each track and pressing each individual Record Enable button - is there a way to do this
