I have started designing my pro tools studio around a Digidesign 002 rack, so far I have an Alesis SR16 midi'd to a Korg Trton which is then connected via Midi out to the 002 rack. I have a marshall amp and an old digital RP3 digitech unit for my guitars plus a Shure SM57 and SM58.

Hello all. I am curious as how to print a stereo mix inside of pro tools. I've done it numerous of time with a patchbaybut I'm trying it on my home rig for the first time. I have a 002 with 6.9.2. I'm almost positive I must do something with my I/O setups, but maybe not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Looking to upgrade our studio in Mauritius, and I'm wondering if its worth going for Pro Tools.

I've worked on Pro Tools at college, and enjoyed the interface.

But my question is really is it worth going for something else, which might be better 'value for money'.

Our budget is approximatly £12Kor $18K.

Im an engineer from the sunny island of Mauritius (Indian ocean) and one of the studios i work for is looking to upgrading the system and Im considering Pro Tools HD2 with the 192 Interface and a control24 surface.

Is it possible to run Nuendo with my current Delta 44 and PT MBox
on the computer or do I need separate systems. I only want PT to use Source Connect.

I just wanted to know if you have to use a Digidesign surface for Pro Tools or if i wanted to use say like a Mackie or onyx board or anything else for Pro Tools. and if so how would you hook that connection.

hi everyone, I'm kinda new at the recording thing so try to bare with me. lol. ok here it is. i have a Boss DR-670 drum machine hooked up with my Pro Tools digi002 setup. I was told that ihave to have an audio track opened with a midi track when recording anything midi. This did give me input and output volume. BUT.

is or does any one know a Pro Tools 301 certified, would like to meet one just one, very intrested, ive made it a point to make it there just wonderin,,thanx

i just had made the switch to the venerable Protools.
but my computer is 4 years old an AMD with 1 gig ram 80gb HD.
I've been watching the Digidesign site about support and want to build my own daw.

so can you give me some advice please, about what processor to use amd or intel or anithing else?
