Does anyone have advice for a home studio
Pro Tools user (Mbox) on switching to other
software (Logic)? I am a Mac user and will
continue to be until another device proves
it's worth (which will probably be a long time!).

quick question - if i'm in pro tools and have a track with a bunch of regions on it, each with its own fade, and want to use the consolidate function command.. does it process the fades, or are they lost?

Yet when I try to burn a CD to send them the files, ALL of the files are way too big to fit on the CD.

Hey, I just made the switch from adobe audition to a pro tools setup, and low and behold! No effects! well, like 8 horrible effects.

I am on the hunt for the finest, free-est plugins i can get for pro tools LE on XP.

Does anyone knwo if it is possible in any way to use Pro Tools plugins in other programs such as Sonar?

I am currently researching makeing a move from my PT LE rig to Cubase. I like the way PT is set up, I find it intuitive and easy to use. I can't stand the limiting and monopolisitic nature of Digidesign. Needless to say any change in my software choice will require a bit of learning curve.

What is good on Powerbook 1.67GHz with 1.5/2 GB RAM? I want to use a lot of VST plugins like EWQL Silver/Platinum. (Oh! does Pro Tools have VST support at all?)

Also, do they use Logic in professional/commercial studios?
