I'm a researcher currently studying for a PhD in the field of Psychoacoustics within the Applied Psychoacoustics Laboratory at the University of Huddersfield, UK.

• Archtop Guitar
• PreSonus 2 channel BlueTube
• Allen & Heath ZED 10FX Mixer
• Canon XA10 Camcorder

I'm fairly happy with it, but the high end doesn't have that special sauce I hear on other recordings. I don't just want to boost the whole thing at >2K. I welcome your feedback...

so i'm at home with my 10 year old laptop .. (Gateway Celeron M running Linux's newer version, although i like the previous edition better) and it has Audacity on it ... ok seems like an reasonable program for playing around ... i probably would want something better for real work but hey it's free and it works (sort of) on this old slow pos i have.

I am producing and album of spanich flamenco solo guitar, we have been recording in a top proffesional studio in Madrid, Spain so far. We still need to record a couple of songs and make a lot of punch in trough the guitar in the rest of songs, but we are running out of budget and thinking to move to a another pro studio which is less costly

Hey there, I was considering buying the Tascam us 1800 audio interface but Im a little worried about whether these types of things have the capabilities to record punch ins (and other editing necessities) because we would probably make many mistakes and have to redo starting from certain points.

Hi guys... I was wondering... What is it that gives a song that heavy punchy sound. I've heard songs that are supposed to be a heavy song but doesn't have the punchy boom it needed. I am having that problem. I think it's the master that gives it that sound but Im not sure how to get it. Any tips?
