Hi, i own a fostex pd6 and need to purchase a battery system to feed it, i am uusing actually the low cost lead acid 12 volts battery, but they are heavy and have a short life, and not relialable

I have been suggested a system based on IDX with vmount and XLR 4 pin i was wondering if could find someting cheaper,
anyone of you has a similar experience?

I need a new Win7 laptop for musical use in live performance... (Rompler) and... at most as a stereo field recorder... or perhaps to take a feed from the house mix.

Found this forum when searching for a recorder for an opera singer and hope to get some professional opinion on what to choose.

She's currently using a Sony md MZ-N710 with a Sony ECM-MS907 microphone. But the MD got some technical problems and she would like to change it for a field recorder.

Hi. . I have a Behringer xenyx x1204usb mixer. When I open up Sonar home studio, it doesn't give me the full 8 track input selection or a playback selection for my mixer. I will put an attachment of what it looks like when I try it. If some one could please tell me how to get the 8 inputs and a playback master that would help me so much. Thanks!
