Greetings, all! I know many people which prefer route returns from reverbs in channel strips of the desk. Thus they sometimes eq and/or compress them. What are the benefits of this srategy? I mean in studio work, not in live work?

I just bought Alesis Masterlink and am thinking about buying TC M one reverb. How would you compare quality of their A/D converters? When I don't use TC as a reverb, would it be a good idea to use it as an outboard converter?

I am kind of new here and will need your patience with my novice questions. I would like to be quided on the best reverb for vocal and best settings.

Do you know any decent VST/DX convolution based reverb, since I've got loads of SPECTACULAR Impuleses to try out... Do you think that that kind of soft reverb can match hardware units like LEXICON PC91, or even 300L ? Any info appreciated... Cheers !

Well even if I love my DAW and all the plugins.. I want to get a good spring reverb for my home/project studio.
Do you have any favourites that you can recommend?
The AKG ones are too expensive right now for me.
I'm looking for a more budget thing...
Has anyone tried a Biamp reverb?
Or maybe something else.

I recently got an old Reverb from a friend of mine for low cost.
An old Ursa Major, which sounds great to me. Very limited in setting up the parameters but up to 6.4 sec of Decay-time in a very good quality.
