Making the most of a small room
I was mucking around today playing along with a track from the Antelope Zen demo stems from Sweetwater.
I liked the room they originally recorded in and the original drummer was amazing.
My room is 15 by 30 but has a low ceiling about 6 ft 3 I've made my room dead as the original surfaces are Cinderblocks and concrete. As a result it can sound boxy.

Calculating Dimensions in an odd shaped room
@Brien Holcombe
Brien - using Bob Gold's calculator, how do I calculate a room of varying widths?
I'll be more specific ... I'm looking at moving into another area of my house - it's a Living Room area - where in half of the section, a staircase cuts into the width by 3 ft.

How to build my new acoustic room ?
Hy everyone,
I recently bought Owens Corning oc703 acoustical panels (18 panels).
And i dont know how to make the panels (with wood frame or without), to cut them in half and put in the corners or just put them without cutting in the middle, where exactly to put them etc...
And also i bought burlap fabric which i heard is good for this type of panels.

Live/Tracking Room DIY Diffusion/Scattering Acoustic Treatment & Material Options
In my opinion (i think most will agree) that after the original source (instrument, amp, etc..) the room that the instrument is being tracked in is the first stage of EQ.
