I have a Phonic 2443A mixer that appears to have some sort of routing problem. Yeah I know, Phonic, hahaha...OK. I bought this cheap on purpose cause I just needed it in my personal home project studio for some things. If it is broke then i'll buy something else but out of curiosity I wanted to know how some of you pros would trace down an issue like this.

Hi there, I am having probs with routing my out board fx to my 002.
I have a Soundtracs Topaz console 32 ch, urei compressors,roland tape machines, a fairchild reverb unit & a ANT w695b eq + a host of other
analog equip.
Want I want to do is use my original tracks and re record them in realtime using my effects as we produce dub style music.

I dove in head first ! I'm a musician songwriter hooking up a new digital studio,and I need some advise on routing my signals through my equip. Behringer FX 2442 digital board, stereo 31 band EQ, dbx stereo comp. limiter, Lexicon MPX 500 EFX processor, 48 point balanced patchbay,Pro Tools 002 Rack. I am trying to route a dry acoustic out of my PC running SAW (SAW is set up correctly) to an Maudio 410 Firewired to my PC, then SPDIF out from the 410 to the IN SPDIF on the M3000.

i get the signal TO the 3000 ok but i cannot route it back OUT SPDIF to the 410 and back into SAW?

Right now I have: Mackie HR824's, Behringer HR400 headphone amp, dbx376, Bellari RP503, BBE 882, (2) RNP/RNC. As of now the BBE isn't even connected to the 002, and the RNP/RNC's aren't connected to the outs, so I can't use them as inserts in Pro Tools. I plan on getting two more pre's/compressors and another channel strip within the next few weeks.

are there any users of the emu 1820m that can tell me if the dsp fx included can be routed to the monitor only when recording a live input, and not record to the track?
