Ntrack and mixer routing help!
hey all, new to the boards.
i have been a N-track user for 3 or 4 years now and i will not mess with it for months at a time out of frustration.
i have a Berry MX802A mixer running into a Audiophile 24/96 card using the latest N-track 4.0. ok, i have the 2 track outs on the Berry mixer to my soundcard in's! (left to left, right to right)

effect routing mystery in Cubase sx
lately while doing a mix, i routed drums to a group channel to control all the drums at once. this was no problem.
however i had placed some reverb through a send effect, not an insert on each channel but from effects send 1. different amounts for each instrument etc. this was no problem as well.

Re-Amping/Re-Routing
So many forums, it's so hard to choose the right one!
OK, so I'm using a Tascam USB unit to do my tracking with. I want to route the vocals through an external reverb unit: however, the Tascam box doesn't have aux sends/receives, and when I go from output to input, all I get is some feedback (very creative feedback that will tactfully go into the song, so not a wasted effort).

EMU E5000Ultra output routing
Howdy.
I finally figured out how to program presets in this thing. I still can't figure out how to send different voices to different outputs. I aseume it's done in MIDI; any advice? Or, failing that, I'd love a pointer on where to take this question...

DM-24 and 2408 routing?
I realize this is not a finalized product, but I have a question about the info that has been made available on the DM-24. It looks to be an ideal match for the 2408 with it's 3 built-in TDIF ports, and I understand the channels could be fed either from the built-in 16 analog ins or the 24 TDIF ins, but how can it route audio out?

FX Routing questions
Hi Dedric,
Thanks to you and numerous others I have finally made the plunge into Paris and I am excited. Just put the order in today. 3.0 looks amazing BTW. Anyway after seeing Paris in action I was impressed to say the least with it's depth and smooth airy quality...But then again we were listening to some of Brian T's work.

Soundscape Internal signal routing
Ok. here we go again..
I have heard that you can "customize" your mixer in R.ed.. How much can you customize it?
I suppose that you can have dynamic FX's on the mixer. can you have your plug's pre compressor? or pre compressor post EQ? how about: Plug>Comp>Plug>gate>Eq ?
In other words.. what can you do when talking signal flow?

Midi Routing
anyone know of a win2k app that can route and thru your midi like you can do with your hands and a thru box?
I am having trouble routing midi internally...seems like the midi manufacturers would have us send midi back out thru a port then back in again thereby selling many more and larger midi interfaces...
I tried midi yoke, and hubis won't run on win2k...any other ideas?
