Hi, I'm trying to get my set-up running and am experiencing some problems. I am running a Beta 87a/guitars through a 4 channel mixing board, and running stereo from there to my interface. I have Cubase presently and am trying to record with that.

This is quite hard for me to put into words because I'm pretty much a noob in the Fireface Mixer.

I'm trying to use one of my output channels on the Fireface 800 to reamp my guitar DI's.
And I want to use a mono out on the Fireface to the reamp box.

Yes... I am very much a noob at studio setups/equipment routing. I'd like to know what cables I need to start recording on my PC.

For the life of me I cannot get my output tracks from SD2 onto individual instrument audio tracks in PT LE 7.4. I have a midi track with note info routed to SD2 on an audio track, which I can monitor. Problem is, I am trying to route each instrument, eg. bass drum, snare, etc to a separate track and it is not working.

First of all, I am tracking on PT's HD with version 6.9.2, he has the Digi 002 rack version 7.0 with a Soundcraft GB 8 analog board. I take my sessions to him via hard drive.

I've tried to find the solution to my questions in older posts but i couldn't find any, so i'm writing to see if anyone could eventually help me.

ok, after looking around on here to see if any one else is having the same problems as me, i reliese my problems seems very amature, but then who else to ask then the people who's knowledge is on the professional level.
my problem is fx related, in that i use a number of small fx boxes and i seemed to have gained a very annoying hum/buzz thro my amp.

I'm pretty much sold on the d-box, though, i am going to work out all bugs and hook up diagrams before i actually purchase this unit.

Hey, so I have a question about mix down with my Toft ATB16. I have it set up in-line with the signal being returned to each channel so I can mix OTB with the ATB's EQ, etc. I don't have it set up currently so that I can mix down to a stereo track, which is ultimately an issue, come bounce time.

Hello. Question. I currently have a MOTU 2408 going straight to my Alesis M1 actives. I have a DM-4800 as the front end to my DAW going digtally into the 2408 via 3 lightpipe cables. If I want to just fire up a keyboard and play it in my studio, I have to fire up everything, open a Cubase project, set a track to monitor, blah blah blah. A major pain and inspiration killer.
