I have a DAT recorder: Sony PCM- M1 and had a Technica AT 822 that was stolen. Keeping in mind this is for portable use that fits in my hand or close to that size.

I am looking to find some not-to-expensive equipment for playing music at a school. I am not sure how big the room is going to be, but I think 2 speakers would cover it. There is going to be a guitar, piano, and maybe drums. Basically I am looking for something that is portable and can easily be moved around.

hello all. i am fairly new to the recording world. i have a pretty simple setup but it seems to treat me well for the time being. last night i laid down an improvised electric guitar peice. i am happy with the results but i have a technical issue to deal with. while reviewing the recording i see/hear that there are parts that peak high, as well as low regestering moments.

does anyone know of a good Sound Eng school in Louisiana?

Hello everyone. Here is the deal. I am in the military and they pay for my schooling, if the school is Accredited. I have found an accredited shool for Mixing and Mastering. Im looking to become a Mixing/Mastering engineer.
This will not be the only schooling I will recieve, its a starting point.

This is the first time I've been on this so I hope I am posting this correctly. I am curretnly a sophomore at the University of Hawaii but want to go to a good recording school in California. Is there a good recording comunity college in California?
