The story is simple( taking place in Milano, Italy): I wrote a song, found a singer, and now I am finishing the production (electro-pop, all played by me). Now the question is what to do next. let me just note that I have a good feeling about this one. It might work... So, should I make the singer sign something? and should I look for a publisher, or go directly to a record company?

I am a songwriter that wants to lay down fairly competent tracks, but nothing elaborate. I'll leave it to the studios and professional musicians to make the song play great.

You should never pay to have your music reviewed by a company that may be seeking to publish, produce or record the material. Reviewing the material free of any fee, is the practice of legitimate companies wanting hits for their artists or recording.

I know most rock bands do most if not all of their writing in house, I was just hoping for a different poinr of view, but how is the job market for HardRock Songwriters?
